Mount Union Softball Camps

23rd Street Field

 

23rd Street Field is the home of the Mount Union baseball and softball teams while also serving as a practice facility for the men's and women's soccer programs.

The baseball stadium includes dugouts, bull pens a scoreboard and in 2010 the fan seating area was remodeled, a new outfield windscreen was added on the fencing along with the addition of a press box over the first base dugout.

The softball stadium includes dugouts and in 2009 a storage area and press box was added along with a fan seating area down the first base line.

Between both stadiums is a large covered batting cage area utilized by both teams.

A baseball practice infield along with two full size practice fields set just north of the baseball stadium.

No pets of any kind are permitted.

 

Gulling Training Center

The Gulling Training Center opened in 2001 and is a comprehensive indoor practice facility for all of Mount Union's 23 athletic teams. 

The facility, which sits just behind the covered seats west of Mount Union Stadium, features weights, plyometric and complete physical training equipment along with 40-yard indoor turf surface used for conditioning programs.

Also included in the facility are office and meeting spaces for the football coaching staff. 

Grass practice fields sit just to the west of Gulling Training Center.

In 2013 a project was completed that remade the press box into the Dom Capers Press Box and the Ron Walter Locker Rooms were added.
